I’ve always loved the way labradorite seems to change when it catches the light, so when I started working with it, I wanted to create a pair of earrings that let the stone take center stage while still giving you the option of a simpler look.
These sterling silver hoops feature a hand-hammered finish that catches the light for a subtle sparkle. Removable labradorite charms add flashes of iridescent color when you want them, or can be taken off for a clean, classic hoop.
Labradorite is a feldspar gemstone known for its striking flashes of blue, green, gold, and sometimes purple. This natural color effect, called labradorescence, appears as the stone catches the light and gives each piece its unique character.

Roc City Smithy started with a love of making things by hand and a desire to create something that felt truly our own.
I’m Kayla, and for me, jewelry became more than a hobby. It became a creative outlet, a way to slow down, experiment, and turn an idea in my head into something I could actually hold in my hands. I’m inspired by nature, texture, unusual shapes, animals, emotions, and the artists who remind me to keep looking at things differently.
Josh brings his own creative approach to the Smithy. He loves pushing himself to try new techniques, experiment with unfamiliar ideas, and create pieces that he knows others will love.
While we're each developing our own styles and creative approaches, we're building Roc City Smithy together, one piece at a time.
We're still growing, still learning, and still figuring out exactly where this journey will take us. But that's part of what makes it exciting.
